Well Lane Water Pump

The Pump needs priming before use and you should find a cup adjacent to the pump for this purpose. There is also an emergency bottle behind the pump in case the trough as been allowed to run dry.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To prime the pump you just pour water into the hole in the top. This usually just requires one cup but if it had not been used for a while 4-5 cups may be required.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A strong resistance should be felt when you pump the handle and water should run after a few pumps.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please leave the water trough filled up to the overflow notch.
